Frequently Asked Questions
General Information
- Go to our registration page
- Complete the form, and press the REGISTER button
- A confirmation email will be sent to your email address, once your profile has been approved
- Login with your username and password
- Place your bid…
- Login to the website
- Select your preferred auction
- Enter your amount in the designated area/input field
- Select the BID button
- You will receive an email as confirmation of the bid
- Login to the website with your fancier username/email and password
- Your dashboard will appear, after login
- Select the “Settings” link on your left
- Complete the desired information on your right, i.e. Store Name, Store Slug (https://exclusivepigeons.co.za/fancier/[store_slug]), etc.
- After all the desired information has been filled in, select the “SAVE” button located in the bottom-right corner
- Login to the website with your fancier username/email and password
- Your dashboard will appear, after login
- Select the “Settings” link on your left
- Scroll down on the page until you get to “Shop Description” on your right
- Select the “Add Media” button, located below the “Shop Description” heading, and above the area where you can fill in your shop/business information
- Upload your photo/pedigree image, via the “Upload Files” tab (left top, next to “Media Library”)
- After the photo/pedigree image has been uploaded, on your right (where the “ATTACHMENT DETAILS” heading is located), you need to scroll down until you get to the “ATTACHMENT DISPLAY SETTINGS” heading
- Next to “Link To” select “Media File” (under the drop down menu)
- Select the blue “Insert into post” button
- Now your photo/pedigree image will open (enlarge) in a pop-up when selected
- Remember to select the “SAVE” button in the bottom-right corner, in order to save the changes you have applied
Should your photo/pedigree image already be uploaded
- Follow points 1. to 4. mentioned above
- Select/click the image
- Click on the pencil/edit icon (that appears after you have selected the image), to the left of the “x” icon
- Scroll down on the pop-up, until you get to the “DISPLAY SETTINGS” heading
- Next to “Link To” select “Media File” (under the drop down menu)
- Select the blue “Update” button, located in the bottom-right corner of the pop-up
- Remember to select the “SAVE” button in the bottom-right corner, in order to save the changes you have applied

Terms & Conditions
- Minimum bid on a pigeon is R1 000
- Increments on bidding is R200
- Accounts must be settled in full within 7 days after the auction has ended via EFT or cash deposit in Exclusive Pigeons bank account. Credit card payments will also be accepted
- Viewing of the pigeons on auction can be arranged
- When a bird has to be shipped it will be done by air and the cost is R400
- Pedigrees for every pigeon sold will be issued by the seller
- The sex of baby birds can not be guaranteed, but will be indicated
- Minimum bid on a pigeon is R1 000, and increments on bidding is R200
- When the bidding exceeds R5 000, the increments will automatically be increased to R500
- NB: Should a bid be placed on a pigeon 15 minutes before the end date and time as stipulated within the part no., the auction on that specific pigeon will be extended with 15 minutes
- Kindly note that we do not accept telephonic bids 30 minutes prior to the closing of an auction
